About TrackDIFF

What TrackDIFF is

TrackDIFF (trackdiff.com) is a free League of Legends statistics site that treats the ranked ladder like a sport. It pulls publicly available data from the Riot Games API and presents it as leaderboards, player profiles, match history, live game tracking and more.

  • Leaderboards: the top Master+ players on every server, with rank, LP, 24-hour LP change, win rate, and who is live on stream or in a game right now.
  • Player and streamer profiles: one Riot account's current and peak rank, ranked match history and most-played champions; or a streamer's or pro's linked accounts, live status and clips.
  • Champions: every champion's win, pick and ban rate for the current patch by role, with the highest-win-rate runes, items, build path and skill order.
  • Events: LP races, bootcamps, head-to-heads and challenges, with standings and records.
  • Overlays: OBS overlays for streamers.
  • Tier lists: champion tier lists published by creators and players.

Where the data comes from

TrackDIFF's data comes from the Riot Games API: publicly available League of Legends game data, used under Riot's developer policies. TrackDIFF makes that data easier to browse and to track over time.

Every number on TrackDIFF is computed from that data; nothing is hand-entered.

A player's rank and LP are exactly what Riot reports. TrackDIFF never derives a tier from LP.

Because TrackDIFF depends on the Riot Games API, data can sometimes be delayed, incomplete or temporarily unavailable.

How the numbers are computed

TrackDIFF's statistics follow a few fixed rules, so the same number means the same thing on every page.

  • LP cut-offs: the Challenger and Grandmaster LP cut-off is TrackDIFF's own calculation of the LP needed to enter that tier on a server, recalculated from the current ladder.
  • Peak LP: the highest LP TrackDIFF has recorded for an account.
  • 24-hour change: the "24 Hours" columns show the change over the last 24 hours.
  • Win rate: win rates count ranked solo/duo games (queue 420) only.
  • Patches: patch numbers follow Riot's own numbering (for example 26.21).
